Damn Beautiful Code
It has to look good under the hood. Would you like to open the bonnet on a Ferrari and see a mass of black rubber tubes and off-the-shelf auto parts? Thought not.
We pride ourselves on producing well planned, scalable code which is both flexible and future-proof. Because of our unique understanding of both the design and build sides of the development cycle, we can plan ahead to ensure your project is performant as well as looking good.
Our approach to development follows industry best practice and strict object orientated, design pattern-based procedures at all times. This approach ensures fewer bugs and problems, and means our code is easier to maintain and update. We keep an extensive bespoke code library, to make sure that once we have something that works, all of our projects can benefit from it.
Keeping up to date
It is now more important than ever to keep up to date with new developments in the interactive industry. Our ears are glued permanently to the ground, so that when something happens, we can take advantage of it straight away. We’ve recently been leading the way in development for Microsoft Mediaroom and Yahoo! TV Widgets, and we have loads more things in the pipeline which we’re pretty sure are going to be The Next Big Thing™.
To see how we’re keeping things running smoothly for clients such as the BBC, Disney Channel and Virgin, check out our work. Or, if you’re a code junkie, get stuck into some of our open source bits and pieces in the Pushbutton labs.
